The Hilltop Cares Foundation has been formed by members of the Horace Mann community to help victims of sexual abuse at the school and to promote healing. Alumni, survivors, parents and students are working together to raise funds to assist survivors in need of help with the financial costs of therapy and to seek ways to foster a renewed sense of understanding, compassion, and community. Hilltop Cares is independent of the Horace Mann School and welcomes the support of all who wish to help in our mission.

Brilla College Prep Public Charter School is a charter elementary school in the South Bronx teaching underprivileged students in the classical tradition. Brilla develops students into young men and women of good character and spirit by fostering their cognitive, social, emotional, and physical excellence. Brilla plans to launch its first summer program in 2014 to help its students maintain momentum in reading and math skills throughout the calendar year.

City Harvest exists to end hunger throughout New York City. City Harvest does this through food rescue and distribution, education and practical, innovative solutions.

DonorsChoose is dedicated to addressing the scarcity and inequitable distribution of learning materials and experiences in our public schools. DonorsChoose improves public education by engaging citizens in an online marketplace where teachers describe and individuals can fund specific student projects. 

Dress for Success is a not-for-profit organization whose goal is to help low-income women overcome some of the barriers they face as they attempt to enter or re-enter the workforce by providing interview and employment outfits, along with shoes, purses, coats, makeup and hair care. The mission is to instill in each woman faith in her ability to succeed in life. Dignity and respect are the cornerstones of this service.

The Michael J. Fox Foundation and The New York Stem Cell Foundation are collaborating to accelerate treatments and cures for Parkinson’s disease by developing a genetically diverse collection of stem cell lines derived from the skin cells of participants in the Parkinson’s Progression Markers Initiative. These efforts are designed to allow scientists to predict, objectively diagnose and monitor both Parkinson's disease patients and populations at-risk to developing Parkinson's.
